Felicity has over 19 years experience in Intellectual Property, Trade Practices and Information Technology.
She was admitted to practice in Victoria in 1981 having completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Melbourne.
She was a partner at Phillips Fox (now DLA Phillips Fox) for over 8 years in the Intellectual Property, Trade Practices and Information Technology Group before coming to the bar. She has also practised in London at Herbert Smith.
Signed the Bar Roll in May 2005.

Intellectual Property
- All areas of Intellectual Property including trade mark disputes and validity claims, patent licensing, infringement and validity claims, infringement of copyright and designs, passing off and misleading or deceptive conduct claims and breach of confidential information cases.
Trade Practices
- Parts IV and V of the Trade Practices Act, drafting Trade Practices manuals and presenting Trade Practices workshops and seminars for national corporations, Statutory Authorities and Government Instrumentalities.
IT and Technology
- Major IT commercial contracts and disputes from IT systems applications contracts to multi million dollar outsourcing arrangements and domain name disputes.
Commercial
- Major commercial contract disputes including franchise disputes and interlocutory applications in the Federal Court.

Member of the IP Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Former committee member and past Treasurer of IPSANZ.
Member of the Copyright Society
Member of the Commercial Bar (Victorian Bar).
