Tim has a broad civil law practice focusing mainly on commercial law. He has appeared at trial level in all jurisdictions both on his own and as Junior Counsel. He also has experience at appellate level in the High Court of Australia, Full Federal Court and Court of Appeal.

In addition Tim is Co-Author of the Butterworths looseleaf service "Banking, Negotiable Instruments and Documentary Credits".

Tim completed his Articles at Baker & McKenzie and was seconded to the firm's Sydney and Toyko offices before coming to the bar in 2004.
