Profile

John Glover is a commercial barrister, specialising in Equity, Trusts and Taxation. From 2009, he has been a Professor in the School of Law at RMIT University.

John signed the Bar Roll in 1984 and practised for 5 years, appearing in significant commercial litigation - on occasion with counsel now elevated to the bench - before becoming a full-time law academic at Monash University. In 2005, he returned to active practice at the Bar.

John is a co-author of Ford & Lee's Principles of the Law of Trusts (Thomson Reuters, looseleaf and on-line) and author of the monographs Equity, Restitution & Fraud (LexisNexis 2004) and Commercial Equity: Fiduciary Relationships (Butterworths 1995), as well as over 50 articles in refereed law journals and chapters in books.

John is a nationally accredited mediator.
