Paul McDermott practices in many areas of Commercial law including Trade Practices, Contract and Property. He particularly appears in the Practice Court and in Interlocutory matters.
He also practices at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal in proceedings in the Owners' Corporation, Legal Practice, Domestic Building, Credit and Anti- Discrimination Lists.
Further he has had a long history in employment law, advising on setting up businesses to meet the vagaries of employment and industrial legislation.
Mediator- Accredited since 1995. There is a mediation centre on the 15th floor of chambers at no cost to the parties.
Mediation is a strong component of his practice, both as counsel and as mediator.
