Graduated LL.B., B.A. from the University of Melbourne in 1977.

Admitted to Supreme Court of Victoria in 1979, signed Bar Roll 1980.

Practiced extensively in common law and criminal law over last 30 years, with specialist areas of practice in personal injuries, defamation, disciplinary tribunals and sports law.

In recent years his appearances before disciplinary tribunals have included thoroughbred and harness racing appeals boards, as well as AFL and football (soccer) tribunals.

An accredited mediator through Bond University, his experience as both mediator and counsel for parties to mediations is extensive.
